And what would I, as a woman, know about being a man in today's world?
Firstly I was raised in a broken home by broken men. I was very close to my brother growing up and have seen how childhood relationships shaped the man he is today. I worked for many years in the construction industry where I was able to observe the behaviours of men in the workplace. Being an avid biker and keen rollerskater, combined with my sigma female personality, resulted in my friends and acquaintances being predominantly male.
I often found as the only female in these circles, that men would find it easier to approach me with their troubles, as I'm not judgemental and have a softer, more nurturing response, with the bonus of obtaining a woman's point of view. As a woman with a healed perspective of men, they find this extremely valuable.
I have created this space because of my own battles with depression and poor mental health. Since I could remember I had felt alienated because of my intuitive abilities, and having emotionally unavailable caregivers. This lead me to search for counsel and guidance multiple times throughout my life, but to no avail. Therapists would listen to me, but none were able to actually help me. Eventually with nowhere else to turn, I took a deep dive into my self, and committed to the spiritual path I am on now. I studied for years to become a certified spiritual coach and a qualified neuro linguistic programming practitioner with the British school of Yoga. Having tried and tested my own methods, I am now equipped with the tools to help others, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, which in turn improves ones physical health, thus improving their over all well-being.
